  1. Why not just a Haunted Hotel attraction?
Answer: The World's Fair of 1893 was a significant event in history with amazing stories to tell.  It also is a significant part of the immersion within the attraction.

  2. What will scenes be made of?
Answer: Scenes will be constructed of common materials including plywood, styrofoam, and plastic.  Large photographs cut-out to create the illusion of 3D space will minimize costs, but still create an immersive set.  Props and gags will be constructed in a similar way, likened to classical dark rides of today.  Lighting effects including projection also will be utilized.

  3. If Pretzel and Arrow are no longer in business, who will manufacture the vehicles and system?
Answer: Modern manufacturers such as Zamperla, Triotech, Mack, Vekoma, Intamin, Sally, and others would be consulted to evaluate interest in resurrecting this classic ride, but with modern updates. A custom, in-house design using several 3rd parties and 3D printing is also under review.

  4. Who is the attraction appropriate for?
Answer: Although the first half of World's Scare would appeal to everyone, some may find the second half scary.  All may be accommodated with the following restrictions: no handheld infants, and riders under 47" must be accompanied by an adult.

  5. How did H.H. Holmes evade capture for so long?
Answer: Criminal forensics such as fingerprinting and other techniques were relatively new and not fully understood in the late 1800s.  Furthermore, personal identity tracking did not exist, and communication was slow, making it possible for Holmes to elude authorities as he traveled town-to-town.
